1-base 5-Stalker Oracle aggression (PvP)
This build seeks to punish fast-expand builds by aiming for a push at 4 minutes with 5 Stalkers, 2 Adepts and an Oracle killing probes from behind, at the cost of an early economy. It is adapted from a similar Heart of the Swarm build, but with the ethos of Legacy of the Void being about more expanding, this build can catch players off-guard if they fail to scout it and realise the player's intent.
@100 minerals - Pylon (use the first probe that returns minerals to the Nexus, and build this pylon flush against it so that 3 buildings and the Nexus can completely surround it later)
12 Probe (only build one)
@150 minerals - Gateway
13 Gateway (resume probe production)
14 Assimilator (send this probe to scout)
17 Cybernetics Core (halt probe production briefly)
17 Gateway (resume probe production)
@100% Cybernetics Core - Warp Gate research (Chrono)
25 Stalker (use this Stalker and the 2nd one to search for enemy proxy pylons)
Stop building probes at 26. If you scout a fast-expand (i.e. before Cybernetics Core), send the Adept out to harass and try to bait some Photon Overcharges. If not, keep the Adept at home to help defend from an enemy one.
28 Stalker (once this Stalker finishes, make sure you are now moving your army over to your proxy pylon)
30 Pylon (proxy pylon with your scouting probe)
@100% Warp Gate - Transfer Chrono over to the Stargate - if you accidentally made one too many probes, kill one before your warp-in.
35 Stalker * 2 (at proxy)
39 Nexus (expansion)
39 Oracle (during the attack)
Your attacking army should involve 2 Adepts (use their Psionic Transfer ability to see up the ramp, and then rush to the mineral line), 5 Stalkers and the Oracle close behind. If you get Force Fielded out, use the Oracle for vision and to possibly snipe the Sentries, although the Oracle is primarily there to kill probes while the rest of your army distracts from the front.
This build is strong against fast-expands (so long as the Adept does some early harassment) and other 1-base builds. It is strong against a Pylon rush and a DT rush (although you have to be on point with Revelation, and this is why you must build a second Oracle as soon as you can) but is a little weak against proxy Oracles and Phoenix play. While a fast Immortal will shut down the Stalkers, the Oracle will likely be able to kill probes largely uncontested.
While the attack is going on, your expansion is building up behind this so you can capitalise on the economic damage you do, and then you can transition into Void Rays, although you will likely want to build a Robotics Facility at some point if you don't outright kill your opponent because they will likely build a Twilight Council to counter your Stargate play.
I am only Platinum-level so there is likely room for improvement in the timings, and I am quite sloppy in its execution, but I hope the idea is sound.
